Chasetown | Fuel Savings Across 50 Excavators
Leading carbon reduction in rail maintenance and freight
Proven results
The Challenge
Chasetown Civil Engineering operates a fleet of 120 machines, from excavators and dozers to dumpers. The business first discovered FuelActive on social media and was immediately interested in the potential fuel savings and CO₂ reductions it could deliver.
At the same time, Chasetown was facing downtime from water ingress in fuel tanks. Contaminated fuel was clogging filters and damaging injectors, driving up repair costs and disrupting projects.
The Solution
Following an initial call and demonstration with FuelActive’s construction team, Chasetown committed to fitting the technology across its excavator fleet. Fifty machines were equipped with FuelActive, with a pledge to install the system on all new excavators going forward.
By drawing only the cleanest diesel from the tank, FuelActive protects sensitive components, extends filter life and improves fuel efficiency — all with a quick, simple installation.
“Since fitting FuelActive we’ve seen lower fuel use, fewer site deliveries and improved reliability across the excavator fleet.”
