Grant Award & Scope
FuelActive has recently been successful in its bid to win an Innovate UK Smart Grant for a project value of £500k. In this 12-month industrial-research project, FuelActive will develop a half-scale prototype for overground/underground #fuelstorage facilities, creating an innovative always-on digital monitoring and cleaning system that has the capability of revolutionising the way in which large fuel storage tanks serve fuel and are maintained.

Smart Grants are highly sought after and are awarded to businesses which deliver ambitious or disruptive innovations that can make a significant impact on the UK economy and beyond. This is the 5th #InnovateUK Smart Grant success for FuelActive in the last 3 years.

The new grant will be used to accelerate FuelActive’s growth in key markets around the world, particularly in the #mining, #rail, #transportation and #heavyequipment sectors. The company’s unique fuel delivery technology has already been adopted by several major OEM’s and mining and construction companies across the globe.
