FerreyCorp Business, Vixora, Signs Distributor Agreement with FuelActive

FuelActive has appointed Vixora, a technology-focused subsidiary of Ferreycorp S.A.A., as its exclusive distributor and representative in Peru and Chile.

Expanding FuelActive’s presence in South America

The partnership strengthens FuelActive’s presence in two of South America’s most important mining and industrial markets.

Customers in Peru and Chile will gain local access to FuelActive’s patented fuel pick-up technology, supported by Vixora’s technical expertise, regional knowledge and customer-service capabilities.

These sectors frequently operate diesel-powered equipment in demanding environments where fuel contamination can contribute to component damage, additional maintenance and costly downtime.

Protecting diesel-powered equipment

FuelActive replaces the conventional fixed fuel pick-up pipe with a dynamic floating system.

Instead of drawing fuel from the bottom of the tank, where water and sediment accumulate, the FuelActive system draws cleaner fuel from near the top of the fuel level.

This helps operators:

• Protect fuel pumps and injectors
• Extend fuel-filter life
• Reduce fuel-related breakdowns
• Improve equipment reliability
• Lower maintenance and operating costs

Under the agreement, Vixora will provide local commercial, technical and after-sales support throughout the assessment, installation and operation of FuelActive systems.

Independently validated performance

The partnership follows independent testing commissioned by Vixora and conducted by SGS Peru.

Under controlled conditions, the testing found that FuelActive delivered:

• Up to 85% fewer contaminant particles
• Up to 36% less water in the fuel
• A sustained average reduction of 58% in contaminant particles
• A sustained average reduction of 16% in water
